Michael Semador
Michael grew up in Avenorpedo and was a star soccer player for the Avenorpedo town team. He was also an exemplary student while attending Avenorpedo R.C. Junior High School and Abor Senior High School.. In 2017, he attended the Peace Corps GLOW/BRO (Girls Leading Our World / Boys Respecting Others) camp that taught students key life skills and encouraged them to follow their dreams. Michael intends to study education to become an upper primary teacher, eventually pursuing a PhD and a leadership position in the field of education.

What I intend to study...
Studying upper primary education is a dream I am eager to pursue because I believe that the upper primary level is a pivotal phase in a child’s educational journey. At this stage they are developing their skills and building their foundation, exploring their interest and forming attitudes towards learning that will shape their future academic success. As a teacher, I will have the opportunity to shape their minds, foster a love for learning and make lasting impact on their academics and personal growth.
Through the College of Education, I will be acquire important skills, gain effective teaching methods and strategies to engage students and promote learning. I aim to become a compassionate teacher who will inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential. I envision myself creating a learning environment that will make students feel courageous to ask questions, explore ideas and develop a love for learning.
My education at College of Education will equip me with a solid foundation in the specific program and pedagogical skills. I hope this education will help me to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Also, I would like to be part of a community that values education, social responsibility and community service after I complete my degree.
What I want to do with my life...
My dream after school is to become a dedicated and passionate educator to inspire the minds of young people to become leaders of the next generation. Since it is also my aspiration to become a high-quality teacher, I will pursue a leadership position, either as a Headmaster or a Minister for Education. One of the reasons for this position in my future is to empower the young ones to learn diligently in order to reach that level of education, especially those who know my background and where I come from.
After I've taught for some number of years, I will go back to university for further study. This will help me to be equipped with more knowledge and skills that will enable me to be a better teacher and eventually improve my own standard of living because the more you go to school, the more your own salary increases. It's my dream that I will eventually get my PhD in a foreign country to become a prominent educated elite that will serve the nation and the world. By attending the College of Education, that is not the end of my education journey, but the beginning.
