Bio: Abraham grew up in Avenorpedo and upon reaching adulthood, quickly took a leadership role in the community when he became the catalyst of the Global Evangelical Church - Grace Chapel in the center of village. Now Abraham has turned his sights on becoming an economic policy advisor to help lift people in Ghana improve their socio-economic standing in the world.

What I intend to study...
Studying economics equips me with the tools and knowledge to achieve my goals. I will learn how to analyze data, understand market forces, and evaluate policy impacts. These skills are essential for solving real world provlems like inflation, unemployment, and economic inefficiency. Through topics such as development economics, microeconomics, and public finance, I will be trained to think critically and strategically about resource allocation and long-term planning.
Economics also teaches how to manage risks and make informated decisions necessary for entrepreneurship and leadership. It will help me understand global economic trends, trade relations, and the implications of government policies, which will guide my decisions, whether I work in government, NGOs, or the private sector.
In essence, economics is not just a subject to me it – it is a foundation for my dreams, it gives me a clear vision, analytical, power, and a practical approach to solving problems I care about. With education and economics as my tool, I can achieve my goals and contirute positively to society.
What I want to do with my life...
After completing my education, my life goals are centered around making a meaningful impact in society, achieving personal growth, and attaining financial independence. I aspire to work in public policy, development planning, or economic research, where I can influence decisions that improve the living standards of people, especially in underdeveloped and developing communities. Long term, I envision becoming a policy advisor or an economist working with national or international institutions like the ministry of finance, the bank of Ghana, or the united nations. My dream is not just to earn a living, but to use my knowledge and skills to contirubte to nation building and socio-economic transformation.
My personal interests lie in understanding how economies function, why poverty persists, and how policy can reduce inequality. I am passionate about entrepreneurship and creating job opportunities for others. After school, I hope to start a social enterprise that provides youth employments and promotes financial literacy.
